Kapoho is located about
40 minutes from Hilo on the
eastern tip of the Big Island
of Hawaii. The Kapoho Beach Lots
is a quiet, gated community and
the only one on the Big Island with
6 unique ocean and bay accesses.

Kapoho is one of the sunniest spots
on the windward side receiving
much less rain than Hilo.
Daytime temperatures are
a delightful 70-85 degrees,
at night a balmy 60-65 degrees.
It is a rural area, off the beaten
path and rather proud of it.

Hawaii the "Big Island" has 2 main airports-

From the Kona Airport...

We are about a 3 hour drive from the Kona airport and there are 2 routes to take.

Southern: Take Highway 11 through the South Point area and into Volcanoes National Park.
After the town of Keaau turn right onto Highway 130. Continue on to the town of Pahoa.

Northern: Take Highway 19 North through the town of Waimea and into the city of Hilo.
Turn right onto hightway 11,
pass the Hilo airport and then follow the directions below...

From Hilo Airport...

We are approx. a 45 min. drive from the Hilo Airport.
When you leave the Hilo Airport take Highway 11 south.
Just before the town of Keaau, turn left onto highway 130.
Continue on to the town of Pahoa.

You can stop and shop in Pahoa or continue to the stoplight
and take #132 to Kapoho.

Winding your way down Highway #132 till you will come
to the Kapoho 3 way stop. Take a right
at the intersection turning onto Highway #137.
The first road on your left will be Kapoho Beach Road (no road sign)
and take that till you come to the mailboxes and gate.

Your left turn off of Highway #137.

You will receive a gate remote for easy access,
your guest visitors can use the punch key entry
