Lagoon house has been a very popular vacation rental for over 12 years.
Here are the guest book entries from much of 2006-2008.
A large book full of all the past guest commments is still available
to read and write in at the house. |

We had an unbelievably wonderful time in your piece of paradise! It was a laughter-filled gathering of old friends and family lounging in the beautifully warm water. We tried to drink in the ocean, palms & trade winds to sustain us until next time. We loved all the rainbows of fishes, but friendly big “Puffy” was the favorite. We absolutely love your home, thank you for sharing it with us.

This house is awesome! We loved swimming with the fish and feeding “Puffy”, and he is our favorite fish – If I thought I could get him on a plane I would take him home with us! My daughter says she would like to take the entire lagoon of fish!!! For a perfect ending to our stay here… We saw sea turtles in Champagne Pond this morning!
Your Lagoon House makes a vacation to Hawaii very affordable and special. You have really put a lot of love & thought into this home and we will have wonderful memories that we will never forget.
The fresh flowers were beautiful! Mahalo!
If I could have I would taken Puffy home – Kayleigh.

What fun! A great place for two boys (aged 3 & 10) to spend hours swimming & floating around. Highlights (other than the Lagoon) include seeing the lava flow into the ocean at the end of Rte. 130, watching the volcano “blow” ash in the Halema’uma’u Crater, hiking the Kilauea Iki Crater and snorkeling the Wai’opae Ponds (just around the corner at the end of Kapoho Kai Road).
Thanks for a memorable visit!

My second trip here – and can’t wait to come back again. A perfect family vacation to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary! The lagoon is amazing – once you go in, why come out? Okay, maybe to play with the turtles in Champagne Pond – then back in to swim with the incredible fish.
The house is so comfortable & warm, and the Ray Bolger memorabilia is fabulous (but I want to flip through the rest of the address book). Thank you Ann and Richard for offering such a place of paradise!
